Burwell - Tucker Family Cemetery

| Located on Fort Pickett 5 meters northeast of the intersection of South Pendleton and Longstreet Roads in the accessible southeastern corner of Fort Pickett. The cemetery measures 12 by 15 meters and is surrounded by a barbed wire fence. It is well maintained but not in use. There are 5 marble headstones in good condition (3 with footstones) and 2 possible fieldstone markers. Graves are oriented east-west. The date of the earliest known burial is 1879 and the latest 1939. FPHC, pp. 12-14; FPVC, p. 10. |
