Thomas Jefferson Lynch Family Cemetery

Located on the north side of Robinson Ferry Rd. (Route 626), less than 1 mi. west of Gasburg Rd. (Route 626), no more than 40 ft from the pavement. A large area around the cemetery has been cleared, and a 20 ft x 30 ft metal woven wire on metal post fence has been erected around it. |

Pvt. Thomas Jefferson Lynch enlisted in the artillery unit from Brunswick County, but later enlisted in Co. B, 56th VA Infantry. According to Civil War Soldiers from Brunswick County, Virginia, this stone was erected in his memory and that Pvt Lynch is in a private cemetery “between Highway 626 and Pea Hill west of Gasburg.”, CWS f BCV, p. 340. |
