SISTERS Lucy Ann Morgan and Emma Jane Morgan married respectively BROTHERS Benny Kirk and Eddie Kirk The sisters and brothers were first cousins. Their mothers were Hammock sisters. Neither of the couples above had children. John Robert Morgan, brother of the above sisters, married Imogene Cochran of Weldon, NC. Imogene Cochran died in childbirth at age 26. Her two children, John Robert Morgan Jr., and Jessie Lee Morgan, were raised by their father's sisters. John Robert Morgan and his second wife, Ida Tucker are buried in the Crewe Cemetery, Tucker Plot. John Robert Morgan Jr. and Jessie Lee Morgan Dupriest are buried nearby (at Crewe). Lucy Ann, Emma Jane and John Robert were children of Richard James Morgan John Robert Morgan, Jr. was the father of Imogene Morgan Givens. |
