Wynn Family Cemetery at “Fair View”


Located approx 0.25 mi. west of Christanna Hwy (Route 46) and approx 0.9 miles south of the intersection with Brunswick Dr. (Route 644). It is approx 75 yd. southwest of an old vacant house, said to be the Wynn home where David Jarratt Seward once lived. The 25 ft x 40 ft cemetery is enclosed by a 3 ft high cinder block and brick wall.

Dr. William Thomas Yandell Green Wynn served the Confederate States Army as Captain of Co. I, 20th VA Infantry, (Brunswick Blues). An iron Confederate Cross of Honor adorns his grave, CWS f BCV, pp. 645-46.
