On the east side of S.R.715, 500 feet on the north side of the brick home constructed by William S. Peebles III overlooking approx. a 50 ft bluff. |
|
To the north, the Meherrin River, nice marble and granite memorials but the large unfenced cemetery does not appear to have had any recent care. |

Recorded by J.R. Orgain Jr. of Alberta, Virginia, 5-17-86. |

According to Southside Virginia Genealogies, “Meherrin Mills adjoined the Dunlop property, later known as the McRea farm. Just across the road leading to Meherrin Mills is a large cemetery on a high hill overlooking the Meherrin River.” p. 186. |
